Aikman was right: Cowboys’ Romo is a better QB than he was

I have long been a Romo-basher so even I was surprised that I ended up falling on this side of the debate but after taking a deeper look I realized that Troy Aikman may have been right. Dallas Cowboys’ quarterback Tony Romo is better than Aikman was.

Now I know Aikman made this comment way back in March of this year so this argument played out months ago but after watching Romo in the Cowboys Week 1 matchup against the New York Giants I begin to rethink the issue.

Cowboys seeking to put the ‘D’ back in Dallas

DeMarco Murray key to improving Cowboys

Rookie running back DeMarco Murray made a Jeremy Lin-like splash on the NFL last year when he replaced starter Felix Jones during the Cowboys’ Week 7 game versus the St. Louis Rams. Murray came off the bench and rushed for a Cowboys’ record 253 yards and was the catalyst to the Cowboys going undefeated in the month of November.

The Football Gods Hate the Dallas Cowboys

The football gods giveth and the football gods taketh away. How else do you explain the Dallas Cowboys’ Jekyl and Hyde win-loss record from November to December? No matter what the Cowboys did wrong they couldn’t lose in November and now it seems that no matter what they do right they can’t win in December.
