Adrian Peterson may have a point…



Minnesota Vikings’ running back Adrian Peterson endorsed backup quarterback Matt Cassel as the permanent starter after Cassel led the team to a win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.

This endorsement came in an after-game interview, officially stirring a quarterback controversy in Minnesota.

NFL Comeback Player of the Year race: Peyton Manning versus Adrian Peterson




When is the last time people were this divided over a Comeback Player of the Year race? Usually this is a pretty cut and simple decision but Denver Broncos’ quarterback Peyton Manning and Minnesota Vikings’ running back Adrian Peterson have made this year’s Comeback Player of the Year award an actual race.

It’s hard to remember when two names as big as Manning and Peterson were both in the running for the award. While Manning has been having a monster year after missing all of the 2011 season, Peterson is having his best ever season statistically during a time when he should be still recovering.

Vikings wouldn’t be first Minnesota-team to move to L.A.


People are asking could the Minnesota Vikings really wind up in Los Angeles? It’s doubtful but the people of Minnesota shouldn’t get too cocky. If the Vikings don’t get a new stadium then a move to L.A. is a very real option.

Especially if the people of Minnesota remember the last time they had a franchise leave their great state. The Minnesota Lakers moved to L.A. and are now one of the most storied franchises in the NBA.
